Shari is an adoption counselor located in the Milwaukee office. In 1997, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida. She is currently licensed as a clinical social worker in Florida and Wisconsin.
Shari has previously worked as a social worker in the community mental health, education and medical arenas. She lived oversea for five years and was able to travel to throughout Asia completing home studies for American families desiring domestic and international adoption.
When Shari lived overseas, she volunteered at a local orphanage and held the young children who had been matched with an international adoptive family. The goal was to have the child get used to the increase in human contact before their adoptive parents came to pick them up. Shari felt the orphanage experience she had was a win-win for the child and the adoptive family.
In her spare time, Shari enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She has twin sons, Kaiden and Rylan, who keep her on her toes and laughing daily.
