Claire joined Adoption Choice in September 2017 and works from the Madison office. Claire brings with her extensive experience in the adoption field having previously worked with another adoption agency in Madison. Claire graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland with a Bachelors Degree in Social Science. After working in the social work field for many years Claire returned to school and graduated from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland with a graduate degree in Counseling. In 1993 Claire moved from Ireland to the United States, and graduated from UW-Platteville with a Masters Degree in School Counseling.

Claire’s work history includes: social work, AODA counseling, teaching, personal counseling, suicide prevention coordinator & most recently adoptive counseling. Claire has a passion for working with birth and adoptive parents, and for all of her career has worked with non-profit organizations.

Claire and her husband Jerry have three daughters ranging in age from 12 to 22! She enjoys attending and supporting the wide range of activities her daughters are involved with which include soccer, theater, Irish dancing, tennis, Frisbee and volleyball. In her spare time she enjoys practicing mediation and mindfulness, outdoor activities, gardening and being involved with community organizations.
