The opening speaker is the amazing Venice Williams, the executive director of Alice’s Garden and an inspiring, wise community leader in Milwaukee who will speak on the importance of celebrating black history for all Americans, especially in white majority communities.

We will also celebrate through energetic African Drumming and social justice songs performed by Jahmes Finlayson, a multi-talented local performer, teaching artist and musician.
