Touched by Adoption 2019–
An Evening to Celebrate!

Our first evening event, Touched by Adoption, was certainly an evening to celebrate. Attendees ranged from those intimately familiar with adoption to others who were just learning what it is all about. However, regardless of their connection with the adoption world, the nearly 100 individuals who attended left with a new understanding of how this community walks their individual paths. Families shared their journey verbally on stage or through bio-boards on display; educational tables shared International and LGBT adoption history; an interactive display showed how those in the room were connected to adoption. All this and more added to the wonder of the evening. Not only did we receive warm words from attendees and the community at large regarding the evening’s success, but there was overwhelming encouragement to continue this celebration in the future.

We thank all of our supporters, attendees, sponsors and donors. Without you, this evening would not have been such a success. And speaking of success, as a result of your participation in this amazing evening, Adoption Choice, Inc. was able to raise nearly $20,000! A large portion of these funds will be dedicated to our Sliding Fee Program and our Birthparent Scholarship Fund. These two financial assistance programs help our adoptive parents and birth parents move forward with the dreams they have for their lives. And you are a part of making those dreams come true.
