We love the idea of: the smell of home-cooked breakfast filling the air as our child excitedly comes downstairs, looking forward to flying with Dana for the first time. If it’s as fun as camping, woodworking, programming, riding bicycles, or even riding on the back of Jon’s motorcycle with a cool helmet, today will be the best day! Afterward, our child’s aunts, uncles, and cousins, who live nearby, will join us for dinner – we enjoy cooking everything from lasagna to burgers and salads. Later, we’ll walk Everest, our dog, through our historic neighborhood, then relax with a friendly game of Mario Kart. Bedtime means cozy pajamas, stories, and snuggles with Everest before drifting off to sleep, ready for church the next morning.
