Even prior to the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality in 2015, we were assisting LGBTQ+ couples through Partner Adoption. Adoption Choice, Inc. welcomes LGBTQ+ families who are pursuing all types of adoptions. Step Parent adoption has been available since the marriage equality ruling. Adoption Choice has assists hundreds of LGBTQ+ families complete this form of adoption. Families may also be interested in our confirmatory adoption, which is akin to a step-parent adoption. This type of adoption allows a non-gestational or non-biological parent to solidify their legal status as their child’s parent and confirm their parental rights under the law with a court order.
